I came to the U.S. at age 3 and grew up learning the trades from my dad, a plumber who taught me the value of hard work. From a young age, I was on job sites, gaining real-world experience in construction.

After high school, I moved to Hawaii to renovate hotels — learning every part of the process, from demolition to final punch-out. When I returned to Washington, I started Project SK, focusing on flooring and expanding into remodeling and restoration.

Meeting Iliya was a turning point for the Business and together we discovered a strong dynamic that brought new energy and structure to the business. His expertise and shared vision have helped shape what Project SK is today a growing, detail-driven company built on quality and trust.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports and spending time with my wife, our son, and close family. Providing for them and building something meaningful through this business is what drives me every day.

Iliya SK

I got into construction pretty young, started with tile install and later moved to floor install. I didn’t really have a plan at first, but over time I realized I genuinely loved building things and seeing the results of hard work done right.

I met Dmitriy years ago but when we started talking more, I found that he had already started Project SK, but it wasn’t really off the ground yet or had a clear direction. Right away, it was obvious we saw things the same way. We both cared about quality, doing things right, and building something better. Since then, we’ve been side by side, turning Project SK into what it is today.

Outside of work, I’m married to my best friend, Angie, and we’ve got two Scottish Folds who basically run the house. I’ve always been into cars and racing especially Formula 1. There’s something about the precision and control that’s always drawn me in. When I’m not working or in the garage, I’m usually with Angie, relaxing, driving somewhere new, or just enjoying life at our own pace.
